The president of the Provincial Council has sent a letter this week to the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development, Francisco Martínez, in which, in addition to requesting financial support from the regional Government, he urges him to establish a working group to jointly search for a solution to this problem

In this way, Prieto complies with the agreement adopted unanimously in the Plenary Session in July, following a motion presented by the Socialist Group, in which the Castilian-La Mancha Government was urged to collaborate both in the search for a new location of this infrastructure as well as in the financing of this initiative.
To this end, the president requests the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development to establish a working group in order to find a solution to this problem and find an ideal location technically, as well as respectful of the environment. as with the health of the population.
And for Prieto, the collaboration of the Community Board on this issue is essential “not only because it is the substantive body in matters of the environment and environmental quality, but also because of its wide possibilities of financially supporting this project, either through through its own Budget or taking advantage of European funds, just as it did at the time when this plant was built in the area of La Estrella.”
